Position : Assistant Admin - Officer

Job brief:

Venox Group Limited, is a growing company and is currently searching a motivated Assistant Admin. Officer who is an excellent multitasker with exceptional communication and time management skills. The Assistant Admin. Officer is expected to assist the Accounting department with data entry, processing, and recording transactions, updating the ledger, assisting with audits and preparing reports.

You should have an understanding of basic Accounting principles and proficiency with computers and software, such as MS Excel. You should be trustworthy, efficient, organized and accurate with good bookkeeping skills.

Assistant Admin. Officer duties and responsibilities

The main goal of an Assistant Admin. Officer is to manage a company’s financial records. General daily duties and responsibilities include:

  • Creating and processing invoices
  • Cross-checking invoices with payments and expenses to ensure accuracy
  • Managing a company's accounts payable and receivable
  • Sending bills and invoices to clients
  • Tracking organization expenses
  • Communicating with clients regarding billing and payments
  • Perform internal audits on financial activities as necessary
  • Review both incoming and outgoing invoices
  • Assist in generating financial reports for review
  • Assist in the preparation and payment of VAT returns

    Assistant Admin. Officer skills and qualifications

    An Assistant Admin. Officer should have the following skills and qualifications in order to handle their job duties effectively:

    • A degree or HND holder in Accounting with at least one (1) year work experience
    • Skills in records and bookkeeping
    • Proficiency with computers and software including Microsoft Office Suite
    • Excellent organization skills for maintaining clear, accurate and meticulous financial records for a company
    • Attention to detail for ensuring the accuracy of a company's records and invoices
    • Multitasking in order to successfully handle multiple accounts, invoices and payments at various stages of execution
    • Excellent efficiency for handling any accounting issues quickly with minimal interference
    • Valid Driver's license
