Job Ad & Profile Description

Position : General Manager

The General Manager will be responsible for all Digi-Prints daily operations, business development, marketing and growth of the business, and support of other business ventures run by the director(s).

Position comes with accommodation so candidates must be willing to relocate.

Summary of key responsibilities:

  • Business development and marketing of products & services – establish, manage & maintain relationships with new and existing clients, affiliates and customers. Win/ bring in new business and orders (Meet and exceed monthly and annual sales targets)
  • Assist in the development and growth of business and establish business continuity
  • Management of facebook, Instagram and other social media platforms as required
  • Supervision and training of operation and/ production staff
  • Plan and coordinate production activities for order completion with Production Manager
  • Completion of customer orders (or samples) organise collection/ delivery of completed orders (or samples) to customers/ clients and completion of administrative tasks for orders
  • Ensures compliance with Digi-Prints product quality standards for all customer orders
  • Management of stock levels and stock records (for products and starting materials)
  • Maintenance (cleanliness) of equipment and premises
  • Maintenance of databases, as applicable
  • Invoicing and maintenance of sales records
  • Completes quality control (QC) checks during order completion and of finished/ completed orders (products)
  • Minimises waste, prevents errors and ensures continuous improvement and development of self and subordinates
  • Deputises for manager and/ director(s)
Required profile for job ad : General Manager
  • Bachelor’s degree / equivalent vocational or relevant experience
  • IT (computer) literate, experience (good knowledge) of MS word, excel, PowerPoint and other MS Office applications desirable
  • Experience with the operation of a heat press, guillotine, table-top & portable photo cutters, laser printers & large-format inkjet printers and use of print media desirable
  • Good coordination and cognitive skills and ability to work with hands
  • Passion for selling, enjoys a new challenge and meeting new people
  • Highly motivated, self-starter, self-driven, creative, innovative and dependable
  • Trustworthy and ability to work harmoniously with others, build and maintain positive team & customer relationships
  • Ability to work independently without constant/ direct supervision
  • Demonstrates good attention to detail and has a high sense of quality
  • Ability to learn from past experiences, takes responsibility for mistakes, does not repeat errors and drives own self-improvement
  • Target orientated and flexibility to adapt to changing situations and the ability to work under pressure, strategically plan, organise and manage multiple priorities simultaneously and not repeat mistakes
  • Ability to communicate effectively and clearly. Good presentation skills
  • Fluent in written and verbal English. Fluency in Twi and other Ghanaian languages is desirable
