Pharmacist

• We are searching for a pharmacist who will be willing to Work in The Gambia
• you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the pharmacy while also providing pharmaceutical care to patients.
• You will be responsible for managing pharmacy staff & maintaining inventory in the branch

* Key Responsibilities:

1.  Manage daily operations of the pharmacy, including inventory management, medication dispensing, and patient consultations.
2.  Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and promote safe and effective medication use.
3.  Manage and supervise pharmacy staff, including hiring, training, and scheduling.  Work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to ensure the safe and effective use of medications.
4.  Provide patient counselling and education on medication use, side effects, and interactions.
5.  Ensure compliance with state and federal laws and regulations related to pharmacy practice.
6.  Maintain accurate records and documentation of all pharmacy activities.

* Qualifications:

•  Bachelor's or Doctor of Pharmacy degree from an accredited institution.
•  Current pharmacy license in the state of practice
•  Experience in pharmacy management and staff supervision.
•  Knowledge of pharmacy laws, regulations, and industry standards.
•  Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
•  Strong organizational and time management skills.
•  Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
•  Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.

 * Physical Requirements:

•  Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
•   Ability to operate pharmacy equipment, including computers, registers
