Position : Sales Manager

SALES MANAGER

We are looking to hire a passionate, self-motivated  Sales manager to supervise Sales and to ensure that sales strategies are being instituted and that sales goals are being met. The sales manager’s responsibilities include evaluating the work done by Sales Executive, training sales teams, and creating new sales channels to drive bulk sales, business-to-business sales, and Business-to-Government deals.

To become a successful Sales manager, you should be motivated and driven toward meeting sales goals. A high-performing Sales Manager should possess the ability to suggest innovative ways to reach sales targets.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Promoting the company’s products to businesses, government parastatals, and rural communities
  • Acting as the main point of contact with agents and distributors within the state.
  • Implement sales targets and encourage subordinates to achieve sales goals
  • Preparing sales reports to be submitted to the management 
  • Promptly responding to customer requests.
  • Maximizing the growth potential of the business within the state
  • Ensure that the sales team's needs are properly attended to and escalated when necessary to the state manager 
  • Organize market storms to drive sales 
  • Ensuring that the sales executives comply with the company's sales policy 
  • Collecting customer feedback as well as market research.
  • Foster new Business to Government partnerships

 

Required profile for job ad : Sales Manager

Sales Manager Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree (Marketing, Sales, or related field)
  • Must have lived and understood the operations of market structure 
  • Must have solid practical experience in the power/energy industry
  • Must reside in Ghana
  • Proven work experience in the solar industry
  • Minimum 2 years experience as a sales manager, ability to manage a team
  • Detail-oriented.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • The ability to work under stress and resolve conflict.
  • Sound organizational skills
  • The ability to motivate staff and lead a team​​
